What to Expect

Great Bay Anglican Church is a new church plant in the Anglican tradition. That means we are rooted in the historic Christian faith as it developed in England. The authority of Scripture as one unified, God-breathed story that points us to Christ and encountering the Lord in the Sacraments are central to our belief and practice. We also hold to the historic Christian creeds, and deeply value the beauty and formation of liturgical worship. Our service follows the Book of Common Prayer, beginning with a time of worship followed by the reading of Scripture, a sermon, prayer, and Communion every week.

We are a family church full of life, laughter, and little kids. Be yourself, wear what makes you comfortable and expect to be greeted by friendly faces when you walk in.

For Families

Great Bay Anglican is full of kids and we wouldn't want it any other way! Our desire is that our kids grow up to have a boring testimony - that they never knew a day without Jesus. Our priority is safety. We hold to strict safety standards set by our diocese that include multiple adults in each room, background checks for all children's ministers, and an extensive safeguarding training each of our children's ministers is required to take every three years.

Kids begin the service with the adults then go to a liturgy crafted just for them. We offer GBA Littles for kids aged 0-4 and GBA Kids for kids aged 5 -12. If you'd prefer to keep your kids with you in service, that is totally fine, too. And don't worry about them making noise - we love the energy and holy cacophony that kids brings to worship!
